At C.A. Weber Agency, Inc. we’ve been protecting families, businesses and their employees throughout South Central Pennsylvania for more than 75 years. During this time, we have grown into the Hanover area’s largest insurance agency through a commitment to providing the best insurance protection available at the most reasonable rates.
Our History
C.A. Weber Agency, Inc. in its present form is the result of the 1999 merger of two agencies that had been serving the Hanover area for 70 years each. C.A. Weber Insurance and Baugher Insurance Agency (then known as Trone Insurance) both began providing the Hanover area with insurance protection services in 1929. Charles Weber’s hard work and dedication quickly established C.A. Weber Insurance as a respected and trusted source of quality insurance services. Charles’ son C. Daniel Weber ensured that the agency continued an active involvement in the community following the death of his father. In 1973, Edward J. O’Donnell III purchased Baugher Insurance Agency and oversaw an exciting period of growth in the areas of both commercial and personal services. In 1999, Edward also purchased the C.A. Weber Agency and merged it with Baugher Insurance to form the C.A. Weber Agency, Inc. as we know it today.
